I couldn't believe this was coming from Nissan, and I quote: "Steel Timing Chain. Who wouldn't want to keep maintenance low? So intead of a rubber timing belt (which needs periodic replacement), we used a maintenance-free metal chain in Maxima's engine." Well, damn, wouldn't have been nice if they used this same logic on our Z's? I mean, who wouldn't want to keep maintenance low especially those who have had to replace/rebuild their engine after snapping a timing belt. Oh well, I guess just make sure everyone does their 60K/120K maintenance. The steel timing chain should have been included on Z32's.
